Ok, i am having a cicular dependency problem i think. i am compiling gaim (not using the precompiled version with the installer on this site) and it needs gtk which needs pkgconfig. when compiling pkgconfig i got this error:

gmodule-dl.c:31: dlfcn.h: No such file or directory
make[4]: *** [gmodule.lo] Error 1
make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

And when i tried to compile GLIB which i think has gmodule in it, that needed pkg...

Then i tried to install the libgmodule off of this site, that didnt work i guess because it wasnt in the right spot or because i didnt do it through terminal (i am new so dont laugh if i am wrong).

PLEASE, HELP ME!!!
