Thank you for any help. I am trying to compile the data eraser, wipe, on my Powerbook G4, 400MHz, MacOSX 10.2.3 machine. I run: sudo ./configure; make install and come up with this output:

creating ./config.status
creating Makefile
creating config.h
config.h is unchanged
gcc -pipe -O3 -ffast-math -fomit-frame-pointer -I. -DDARWIN6 -o main.o -c main.c
main.c:31: header file 'getopt.h' not found
cpp-precomp: warning: errors during smart preprocessing, retrying in basic mode
<built-in>:1:1: no macro name given in #define directive
make: *** [main.o] Error 1

What am I doing wrong and/or how can I get this to work?

Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks, again.
