Embarrassed to ask - Working my way through 'C++ from the Ground Up' and was having a ball until hit snag - Using Project Builder 2.1 and tutorial uses kbhit - compiler doesn't have conio library. GNU site says not supported on all platforms - can someone point me towards an equivalent? Thought maybe curses but can't find an 'any key' kinda function. There have been a few other incompatabilities and I've figured them out, but can't find this anywhere. Please be nice.
