I'm sure many of you wonder why you can download a 20KB installer and it says it requires 100MBs of disk space. First of all, in reality it will not write 100MBs of stuff to your disk. The installer likes to have at least 100 megs free so it might perform some cleaning up and optimizations that might require some disk space, but only temporarily. So to find how much disk space an application will actually use, just subtract 100 from whatever the Installer says.
