Hi. I'm trying to get my mutt configured to access my pop account at a remote server. According to http://www.mutt.org/doc/manual/manual-4.html#ss4.10 I need to "access the remote POP3 mailbox by selecting the folder pop://popserver/. " Thing is... what do they mean by "selecting the folder"?
And just to be sure.. was the --enable-pop flag included during configuration of the mutt binary?

I am not sure if this is what you're looking for but in my .muttrc file for my unix account that accesses a remote pop3/imap server, i have:
set spoolfile={remote.hostname.com}INBOX

Thanks. Actually I have since figured that part out. My .muttrc contains the following:
set pop_host="<mail.domain.com>" set pop_delete=no # don't delete messages after download set pop_user="<username>" # POP3 username
Thing is.... I'm now having an issue of the remote pop server (or is it mutt?) not being able to lock my /var/mail/<username> before downloading the mail.
