Hi,

I Download the pakage BitchX-1.0c18.pkg and I installed it and ncurses-5.2.pkg...

I have two questions how do i edit bitchx so I can change which server it connects to, commands it perofoms on connect, change the host name.

And the other question is if i do need to remove BitchX ncurses from my system how do I go about doing this?

you can change which server you connect to from the command line.

e.g.
# BitchX irc.umich.edu orange9
would connect to umich's efnet server using the nickname orange9
only way to change you hostname would be to, well, change your hostname. or, the reverse lookup of your ip rather. unless you have administrative access to the dns server for your block of ip's, that won't be happening any time soon.
if you were to compile it on your own, you could edit the list of servers before you compile. i'm sure there's a ircservers file you could make somewhere to specify after the fact, but i never bothered to check that out.

as for removal
i can't remember what tool it is exactly, but if you check out the bom file in /Library/Receipts/BitchX-1.0c18.pkg/Contents/Resources, it's all in there.
there we go. from a command line, lsbom BitchX-1.0c18.bom
removal of all that would get rid of all BitchX
do similar things for ncurses
