so i went to xfree86.org and got the 4.2.0 binary dist of xwindows for darwin-ppc-5.*
it installed fine, xdarwin launches all cool-like. i say 'rootless', nmap says i have port 6000 open, beautiful.
screen blinks, nothing bad happens. a few seconds later, the screen blinks a second time, and xdarwin closes, no errors. nothing in /var/log. i never even got to launch anything in x.
any ideas why it's doing this? [the one i got from here was doing the same way back when, so i assume i'm doing something wrong here.]
i did put that stuff into the termcap file like it asked.
