Topic: ettercap 0.6.4 problems

so, i went and got ettercap 0.6.4 source. along with the dlcompat library [so i can eventually get plugins. saw a nice one the other day at rubi-con].
it compiled and installed with no errors whatsoever, but when i try to run it, i get this:Building host list for netmask 255.255.255.0, please wait...
Sending 255 ARP request...
Listening for replies...
Resolving 65 hostnames...
Error opening terminal: vt100. the only thing in terminal prefs about vt100 is 'enable strict vt100' or some such, which i have disabled [enabling it didn't help either]. any thoughts? -------------------- -- -willy

well that helped. not as expected, but it led to a conclusion. upon reinstalling 0.6.0 off this website and getting the same error, i decided to reinstall ncurses. all is well in snifferland now.-------------------- -- -willy

I'm not sure what the problem is, have you tried an earlier version? And if it works, compare the two to see what the difference is. Or, if 0.6.4 is in fink, find out what changes were made.
