Carp Junior Member Member # 455 posted June 20, 2002 08:55 PM                     I have downloaded a few packages from forked.net, and many ot them I KNOW are GPL'd and do not mention it. Also, it seems many of the packages on this site were FIRST ported by the Fink project. I took a look there at their site and found this page about the situation. Apex, that is really lousy, and not only should you label packakes that OTHER hardworking folks have ported, but apologize to them and post it on your site. I appreciate the service that you provide, but taking credit (not to mention MONEY!) for work that isnt your own shows a tremendous lack of character. M. J. C.
