To anyone:I recently downloaded a program for Mac OS X and in the installation procedure, it stated that if someone would like a program ported to Mac OS X to request it at macosx.forked.net. I am requesting that a screen saver that comes with LinuxPPC 2000 be ported to Mac OS X. The screen saver is called IFS (Iterated-Function-System) and can be found here:
http://www.jwz.org/xscreensaver/

The screen saver is a 3D swirling, morphing fractal that is the best screen saver I have ever seen. It is a really good example of seeing "order" coalesce from "chaos". It would be very nice to get this back since I removed LinuxPPC 2000 from my hard driver when Mac OS X was released. This is well worth the port.
I would do this myself but I am not a developer or programmer and do not know how to port or write programs.
Sincerely,
jbelair
