This is a distributed computing client that has it's source available here: Source code.

I tried to compile it myself, but they make use of some asssembly language and I don't have the skills to port it to the PPC architecture. I'm still somewhat new to the mac world in general and have been relying heavily on this site for ports of my favourite *nix applications.
