Are you saying that it is possible to get gcc 3.02 running on OS X? I downloaded the latest build of gcc, but couldn't find any mention of apple in the config folder. I'm relatively new to unix, so maybe you could explain it from a novice's approach. Thanks

Edit config/apple/make.defs in your gcc3 directory.

Sorry I still can't find any mention of apple in the config directory. I downloaded my version from the gnu site. Is there another place to get it at?

Perhaps they've changed something since 3.0. Try version 3.0 or 3.0.1.
